Family Circle is again offering their popular fiction contest beginning on March 1, 2010. They are looking for stories that appeal to their reader demographics. They can be about life, women’s issues or anything that creates an engaging story. Entries must be original, unpublished fiction of up to 2,500 words.
Winners make out with plenty of prizes including publication by Family Circle in the magazine or online.
- First place: $750, a Mediabistro.com online course worth up to $610, a one year Mediabistro.com VideoOnDemand membership, and a one year Mediabistro.com AvantGuild membership.
- Second place: $250, a one year Mediabistro.com VideoOnDemand membership, and a one year Mediabistro.com AvantGuild membership.
- Third place: $250 and a one year Mediabistro.com AvantGuild membership.
All entries must be mailed in using proper submission format.
