The Versatile Blogger Award

Thanks to kenziekay, I’m happy be a recipient of this lovely blog award and to pass it on to fifteen more lovely bloggers. Before passing it along, I must tell you seven facts about myself. Since I shared seven random facts last week, when I received the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award, I’ll need to dig deep for seven more.

Here it goes. I’ll keep them short.

  1. Pickles are one of my favorite foods. My favorite field trip as a kid was to a pickle factory.
  2. I am an avid supporter of the Oxford comma.
  3. I follow the Dalai Lama on Facebook.
  4. Yoga was at first a therapy for me, then became a permanent part of my life.
  5. I still watch Survivor.
  6. I used to play the banjo, the piano, and the guitar.
  7. I once killed a black widow spider on a wall with a Taekwondo kick. (Martial arts training came in handy that day. My students were suitably impressed and behaved the rest of the week.)

Drum roll please. Ratatatatatat! The Versatile Blogger Award this week goes to:

LouCinda McGary, Jansen Schmidt, Cathy C. Hall, Jennifer Anderson, Dawn Montgomery, Julie Glover, Julie Anne Lindsey, Bridgette Booth, VB Tremper, Ruth J. Hartman, Ryan King, Gene Lempp, Kristin Connor, Juliana Haygert, and Tia Bach. Congrats to you all.

Rules for the Versatile Blogger Award:

  • Write 7 facts about yourself.
  • Pass the award on to 15 other bloggers you admire and respect.

See you again with the #ROW80 updates on Wednesdays and Sundays.

  3. Holy Cow! I dropped in to see what was going on and found these awesome awards! AND found all kinds of random facts about you that were equally awesome!

Like you loving baseball? (Me, too!) And falling asleep in the pool with a snorkel? (Totally unbelievable and therefore AMAZING) Kicking the black widow’s butt? SUPER amazing. And seriously, fried pickles? BEST. SNACKATIZER. EVER.

Thanks so much, you super amazing and awesome person! (But if I’m being honest, I already knew that fact about you. ;-)

    • Cathy, the day I read your baseball bubble butt theory was the day I realized we’re kindred spirits! If you have the link, will you post it here? And yes, fried pickles are heaven on Earth. With lots of ranch style dressing.

      • Suzanne, I wish I could link to the bubble butt theory piece (which sounds kinda weird when you write it, doesn’t it?) but Baseball Beauties changed their direction and didn’t archive articles. Which is kinda good, ’cause now, I can sell that piece again. I mean, the bubble butt theory is a real thing and some fine day, the sports world will thank me for my remarkable insight. ;-)

  4. Of course they’ll thank you! Your theory holds water and you can base your research on stats. I hope you do sell it again. I just watched Moneyball last nighi, (I know, I’m way behind the curve,) and it was really good. Have you seen it?
